Australia

Student Destiny Education & Visa offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of international students and migrants. Our services are grouped into three main categories for your convenience:
Whether you’re aiming to study in Australia for a diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s degree, our education consultants will guide you through every step of the process. Our “Study in Australia” services include:
- Course Selection & College/University Admissions: Choosing the right course and institution is crucial. Based on your academic background, interests, and career goals, we provide personalized recommendations for courses across a wide network of Australian colleges and universities.
- We’ll help you compare programs, understand entry requirements, and select a course that maximizes your future opportunities (such as post-study work options or pathways to permanent residency). Once you decide, we assist with application forms, document preparation, and direct liaison with the institution’s admissions office to secure your offer letter in a timely manner.
- SOP and GTE Statement Guidance: A well-crafted Statement of Purpose (SOP) or GTE statement can make a big difference in visa outcomes. We guide you in writing a compelling SOP that clearly states your study intentions, demonstrating that you are a genuine student. Our counsellors review and polish your drafts to ensure they meet the high standards expected by Australian institutions and visa officers.
- IELTS/PTE Coaching Advice: English language proficiency is a key requirement for both admissions and visa grant. We provide guidance on IELTS, PTE Academic, or other accepted English tests. While we don’t conduct classes ourselves, we can refer you to trusted partner institutes for test preparation.
- We also help interpret the required scores for your course level (e.g. diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate). And visa needs, ensuring you aim for the target score. Many Australian universities accept both IELTS and PTE scores, and we’ll advise which test might suit you best.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): International students in Australia must maintain an acceptable Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their stay. We assist you in choosing and purchasing the right OSHC plan from approved insurers. OSHC will help cover any medical or hospital expenses during your time in Australia and is a mandatory requirement for the student visa. Our team will explain the coverage options and ensure your OSHC policy aligns with your visa dates and any accompanying family members’ needs.
- Professional year
Beyond study and migration visas, we offer a range of additional services to support our clients’ broader needs and to strengthen their profile for living or staying in Australia:
- Professional Year Program (PYP) Guidance: The Professional Year Program is a structured 12-month program for graduates in fields like Accounting, IT, and Engineering. It combines workplace training and formal learning to help graduates gain industry experience in Australia. Completing a PYP not only improves your employment prospects but also earns valuable points toward skilled migration. For example, graduates of a recognized PYP can gain an extra 5 points on the General Skilled Migration points test.
- We provide guidance on enrolling in accredited Professional Year programs through our partner providers. Our team will advise if you are eligible (you generally need a Temporary Graduate 485 visa and a degree in a relevant field). By undertaking a PYP, many of our clients have enhanced their resumes and moved closer to meeting PR criteria.
- NAATI CCL Preparation: We assist clients preparing for the NAATI CCL (Credentialed Community Language) test, which is an exam administered by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) to certify bilingual proficiency. Passing the NAATI CCL test awards 5 bonus points for skilled visa applicants. And, a significant boost in the competitive points-based immigration system.
- Our service includes guidance on how to register for the test, which languages are available, and tips on study resources or coaching classes. We can refer you to reputable NAATI CCL coaching centers for intensive practice. Whether you speak Hindi, Mandarin, Arabic, Nepali, or any other language offered, we encourage eligible clients to consider this option to maximize their migration points. (Note: NAATI CCL points are recognized by the Department of Home Affairs as Credentialed Community Language points)
- Overseas Health Insurance (OSHC & OVHC): Having proper health insurance is mandatory for many visa holders in Australia. We assist both students and other visa holders in arranging suitable health cover:
- OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover): As mentioned, all student visa holders must have OSHC for themselves and their dependents for the entire duration of their stay. We make this process easy by helping you choose a plan from trusted insurers, explaining the policy benefits, and timing the purchase to cover your visa length.
- OVHC (Overseas Visitors Health Cover): If you are coming on a non-student visa (such as a 485 graduate visa, 482 work visa, or even a visitor visa), we advise on OVHC options. Many temporary visas require you to maintain adequate health insurance (visa condition 8501). We’ll recommend appropriate OVHC plans that meet visa requirements and give you peace of mind during your stay.
- Even visitor visa holders are strongly advised to have health insurance, since you won’t be covered by Medicare (Australia’s public health system) in most cases. We help visitors and temporary workers compare OVHC providers. So that medical emergencies or treatments in Australia won’t result in financial strain.
Popular Study Pathways ( each section for below )
Australia offers a wide array of courses, but certain study pathways are especially popular due to high demand in the job market and potential migration benefits. Here are some in-demand courses and fields that many international students pursue:
- Nursing: Nursing programs (such as Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing) are extremely popular among international students. Australia’s healthcare sector is robust, and nursing is one of the most in-demand occupations in Australia. Graduates benefit from practical training in world-class hospitals and can pursue registration as a nurse in Australia. Qualified nurses find abundant job opportunities nationwide, and nursing features on Australia’s skilled occupation lists, which can help in securing work visas or permanent residency.
- Information Technology (IT): Courses in IT – including Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Science, and Information Systems – attract many students due to Australia’s growing tech industry. From tech start-ups to multinational IT companies, the demand for skilled ICT professionals is constantly rising.
- Studying IT in Australia gives you access to modern facilities, internship opportunities, and certifications that are valued globally. Specializing in areas like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, or cybersecurity can make you highly employable. Many IT roles (e.g., software developer, ICT business analyst) are on the Medium to Long-Term Skill Shortage List, potentially easing the path to skilled migration after graduation.
- Business & Management: Business remains a broad and versatile field of study. Degrees such as MBA, Master of Professional Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or International Business are popular choices. Australia’s business schools rank well internationally, and students gain exposure to an Asia-Pacific economic hub.
- Programs often include industry projects or internships, allowing students to build professional networks. Certain business fields, like Accounting, are continually in demand – for instance, accountants and external auditors are often listed as shortage occupations. A business qualification can open doors in virtually any industry and provide the managerial skills needed for leadership roles.
- Engineering: Australian universities excel in engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mining Engineering, and Telecommunications. There is persistent demand for engineers to support Australia’s infrastructure projects, mining industry, and technological innovation.
- An Engineering degree in Australia includes rigorous coursework and practical lab or fieldwork, and most are accredited by Engineers Australia. Engineering occupations (civil engineers, electrical engineers, etc.) are frequently on the skilled migration lists, meaning graduates can often qualify for the Temporary Graduate visa and, with work experience, move toward permanent visas.
- Hospitality & Tourism: Courses in hospitality management, commercial cookery, hotel management, and tourism are sought after, especially given Australia’s status as a top travel destination. Students learn in real-world settings – for example, cookery students train in commercial kitchens, and hospitality students might intern at hotels or resorts.
- Australia’s tourism and hospitality sector is large and offers roles worldwide. Qualifications like a Certificate/Diploma in Commercial Cookery or a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management can be particularly strategic, as skilled chefs and restaurant managers are occupations in demand in several regions. Graduates can pursue careers in hotels, event management, culinary arts, or tourism operations.
- Trade Courses: Trade and vocational courses are an increasingly popular pathway for students who prefer hands-on careers and are looking for potential migration outcomes. Australia needs tradespeople across many sectors. Popular trade courses include Automotive Mechanic, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical Trades, Welding, and Painting & Decorating.
- These courses (typically Certificates III/IV or Diplomas) are offered at TAFEs and vocational colleges, and they combine classroom theory with extensive practical workshops. Trades occupations are often listed on state skill shortage lists – for example, mechanics, electricians, and carpenters are needed in construction and maintenance industries.
- After completing a trade course and the required work experience, students can apply for the Temporary Graduate visa (Graduate Work stream) and potentially for skilled visas if their occupation remains in demand. Skilled trade professionals can have strong earning potential and a clear pathway to settle in Australia due to ongoing skill shortages in these fields.
