University Admissions

Choosing the right course and institution is crucial. Based on your academic background, interests, and career goals, we provide personalized recommendations for courses across a wide network of Australian colleges and universities. We’ll help you compare programs, understand entry requirements,

and select a course that maximizes your future opportunities (such as post-study work options or pathways to permanent residency). Once you decide, we assist with application forms, document preparation, and direct liaison with the institution’s admissions office to secure your offer letter in a timely manner.

GTE

SOP and Genuine Statement Guidance

A well-crafted Statement of Purpose (SOP) or GTE statement can make a big difference in visa outcomes. We guide you in writing a compelling SOP that clearly states your study intentions, ties to your home country,

and future plans, demonstrating that you are a genuine student. Our counsellors review and polish your drafts to ensure they meet the high standards expected by Australian institutions and visa officers.

Language Preparation

IELTS/PTE Coaching Advice

English language proficiency is a key requirement for both admissions and visa grant. We provide guidance on IELTS, PTE Academic, or other accepted English tests. While we don’t conduct classes ourselves, we can refer you to trusted partner institutes for test preparation.

We also help interpret the required scores for your course level (e.g. diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate) and visa needs, ensuring you aim for the target score. Many Australian universities accept both IELTS and PTE scores, and we’ll advise which test might suit you best.

Health Cover Guidance

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

International students in Australia must maintain an acceptable Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their stay. We assist you in choosing and purchasing the right OSHC plan from approved insurers. OSHC will help cover any

medical or hospital expenses during your time in Australia and is a mandatory requirement for the student visa. Our team will explain the coverage options and ensure your OSHC policy aligns with your visa dates and any accompanying family members’ needs.

Skill Enhancement

Professional year

The Professional Year (PY) is a structured program designed for international graduates in Australia, focusing on fields like accounting, engineering, and IT. It combines formal learning with practical workplace experience, helping graduates develop industry-specific skills and enhance their employability.

Completing a PY not only provides valuable Australian work experience but also awards additional migration points for those seeking permanent residency. At Student Destiny, we guide students in selecting the right PY program, ensuring they meet visa requirements and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

PR Advantage

Professional Year Program (PYP) Guidance

The Professional Year Program is a structured 12-month program for graduates in fields like Accounting, IT, and Engineering. It combines workplace training and formal learning to help graduates gain industry experience in Australia. Completing a PYP not only improves your employment prospects but also earns valuable points toward skilled migration.

For example, graduates of a recognized PYP can gain an extra 5 points on the General Skilled Migration points testvisaenvoy.com. We provide guidance on enrolling in accredited Professional Year programs through our partner providers. Our team will advise if you are eligible (you generally need a Temporary Graduate 485 visa and a degree in a relevant field) and assist with the enrollment paperwork. By undertaking a PYP, many of our clients have enhanced their resumes and moved closer to meeting PR criteria.

Language Advantage

NAATI CCL Preparation

We assist clients preparing for the NAATI CCL (Credentialed Community Language) test, which is an exam administered by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) to certify bilingual proficiency. Passing the NAATI CCL test awards 5 bonus points for skilled visa

applicantsvisaenvoy.com, a significant boost in the competitive points-based immigration system. Our service includes guidance on how to register for the test, which languages are available, and tips on study resources or coaching classes. We can refer you to reputable NAATI CCL coaching centers for intensive practice. Whether you speak Hindi, Mandarin, Arabic, Nepali, or any other language offered, we encourage eligible clients to consider this option to maximize their migration points. (Note: NAATI CCL points are recognized by the Department of Home Affairs as Credentialed Community Language points.)

Overseas Health Insurance

Having proper health insurance is mandatory for many visa holders in Australia. We assist both students and other visa holders in arranging suitable health cover:

  • OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover): As mentioned, all student visa holders must have OSHC for themselves and their dependents for the entire duration of their stay. We make this process easy by helping you choose a plan from trusted insurers, explaining the policy benefits, and timing the purchase to cover your visa length.
  • OVHC (Overseas Visitors Health Cover): If you are coming on a non-student visa (such as a 485 graduate visa, 482 work visa, or even a visitor visa), we advise on OVHC options. Many temporary visas require you to maintain adequate health insurance (visa condition 8501). We’ll recommend appropriate OVHC plans that meet visa requirements and give you peace of mind during your stay. Even visitor visa holders are strongly advised to have health insurance, since you won’t be covered by Medicare (Australia’s public health system) in most cases. We help visitors and temporary workers compare OVHC providers so that medical emergencies or treatments in Australia won’t result in financial strain.
